Mark Bachman is the co-founder and CTO of Xidas and former Professor of electrical engineering and computer science at UC Irvine where his main area of research was in nanotechnology and microengineering at the UCI Samueli School of Engineering.
We'll talk about how five years ago he decided to take the work being done at UCI into the private sector and commercialize it.
